Has anyone else seen this problem? The only thing I could think of is whether you have another CSS stylesheet in your project or sample that might be overwriting these settings CSS can be finiky when you have multiple rules defined. I will try and follow up in your forum post to figure out what problem you might be happening. Since you're looking for suggestions, I will oblige. I think an ASP. NET server control you can associate with a BackgroundWorker would be extremely useful for creating effective web UI's for long-running tasks. It can be used to do a vareity of client updates including progress and status without traditional postbacks. Right now we use timed asynchronous postbacks to check on our threads.

It took a lot of messy wiring to get that working smoothly. Even if it just approximates two-way communication with timed requests, a simple control framework around that would really improve the platform for everybody.

Is there a trick with atlas to to do this? With the current RC you can work around the issue by turning off script compression for all browsers. This can be configured in the web.
