Finepix f70exr driver

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I don't think I need any special camera software, because it worked fine previously with Windows 7 and still works fine with Windows XP on my older computer.

I think the problem lies in the way Windows 10 installed the Photo Gallery when I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows To test this theory I did the following. Removed the SD card from camera and installed it directly in the computer. I clicked and dragged the pictures to my desk top.

Then when I opened Windows 10 Photo Gallery, the new pictures displayed in the correct sequence. This is a bit cumbersome , but it works, but hopefully someone in the Community can help me correct the problem with the way Photo Gallery was set up, so I don't have to use ACDSee as the middle man for importing pictures from my Fuji Fine Pix Camera.

As I said earlier, pictures from my other camera and cell phone can be imported directly into Photo Gallery. I would recommend you to refer to the following Microsoft article on Import photos into Photo Gallery and check if it helps.

Hi Aron. I got a email response from Kelly at the Imaging Support Team-- Fuji film, today that stated that all Fuji Cameras manufactured prior to won't be compatible with Windows 10, and suggested I invest in a card reader. One of these is updates is called FinePix Viewer Vers. My camera had no problem downloading pictures when I had Windows 7, but that may be because at that time my device detector displayed an auto-play dialog box where I would click import.

Now with Windows 10, there is no Dialog box only Photo Gallery which opens automatically when I plug in the camera. Perhaps the Firmware update I mentioned would be able to restore the Dialog box , even though it is only updated to Windows 7. Another option from some other correspondence I received from Fuji earlier is to run the Microsoft Auto-Play Repair Wizard utility which would check and repair the auto-play settings.

But I am not sure if it would work with Windows Perhaps someone from Microsoft, possibly Sangeeta or Harshvardham, or Pawan, who replied to my initial inquiry could advise on weather updating the camera's firmware to windows 7, or running the Microsoft Wizard utility could solve this problem. The only weak area is in the Movie Mode, which is only VGA quality but does at least allow for zooming while filming see video and review below.

This is a big improvement over the same mode on the FEXR and is a good default for the camera. You can still use the regular "Auto" mode or manually set the SP mode when you have time to set up the camera.

Fuji listened to the consumers so now you can use Zoom while filming, but it does re-auto focus and the motor sound is picked up when changing. While these will work free hand, I recommend using a tripod and turning off Image Stabilization since the camera take multiple pictures and combines them in camera to make these effects. So, we can say that manual is the best reference when we want to understand the digital camera product.
